I think the story will be insightful.
There I was …
Minding my business and I get a call on
my phone.
Not a number I recognized, but …
I picked it up anyways.
It was the CEO of the company I was
working for with a message.
(I thought it was strange that the CEO
was calling me out of the blue, it
hadn’t happened before so I had a
sinking feeling “something” was up.)
In a five minute conversation …
I was told the company was downsizing
and that I had two choices.
One – to work for minimum wage
Or …
Two – Leave with one months severance
pay.
He called halfway into the month and
said these changes were taking place the beginning of next month.
So much for company loyalty …
I had worked there for 3 years and
that’s the notice I was given.
That’s the reality of the world in which we all live.

Network marketing is Simple, but doing the old way (i.e.
cold calling people) is NOT easy.
Don’t kid yourself!
Let me explain my view of why network marketing is notorious
for having a 95% or higher failure rate..
Have you ever heard of Occam’s razor?
It states that the simplest explanation for a phenomenon is
usually the best. We’ll use this theory to explain why more
than 95% or more network marketers fail.
Ready?
Most network marketers fail because the marketing methods
that they are taught don’t work 95% or more of the time.
So we’re led to ask the next logical question, what are most
fledgling network marketers taught?
Well, I can only speak from my experience, but what I was
taught was to buy and cold call leads.
Now, I’m not going to say this doesn’t work, but I will say
is that after six months of cold calling leads for 3 hours a
day with very little success this tactic doesn’t work for
me.
Honestly, unless you’re natural born confident sales leader
going into your network marketing career you’ll probably
have these same results.
Don’t get me wrong some people are very good at cold calling
leads, but most people aren’t.
What happens to most people after they’ve spend thousands of
dollars on leads with very little success after months of
effort?
They run out of money. They get burned out and then . . .
They give up.
Another important factor contributing to why most network
marketers fail is the type of leads they buy.
Why does the type of leads network marketers use make a
difference?
Well . . .
Business opportunity leads, the leads most new network
marketers are told to use, are generic. These leads answer
an ad that just asks them if they want to be financially
free or make money from home or something like that.
Well . . . of course they do!
But that doesn’t mean they want anything to do with YOUR
network marketing program.
When the average network marketer calls these generic
business opportunity leads the leads don’t know anything
about the network marketer’s business and for the most part
honestly don’t care.
This leads to the fledgling network marketer hearing a lot
of “NOs”.
Hearing NO all the time leads to quite a bit of self doubt,
both about the network marketer’s own ability and the
validity of their association with their network marketing
company.
Negative feelings begin to harbor and as I said before
eventually the network marketer gives up, usually within 3-6
months.
The fledgling network marketer’s perception of their
business goes from one of opportunity to one of complete
doubt and negativity.
Reality follows perception, so because the fledgling network
marketer believes both themselves and their business as
having little hope this becomes TRUE.
That’s basically why 95% of network marketers fail if you
asked me.

truly don’t enjoy their job. They go to work because they
have to and not because they want to. Network marketing
offers a promise of true financial freedom. The ability to
leave the 9 to 5 working world. This freedom will ALWAYS be
to tempting to pass up.
People will ALWAYS want more free time to do with as they
please:
Did you know in a past poll conducted by Money magazine that
64% of American men and 68% of American women polled said
that if they had a choice between more money and more time
off they would choose the time? People covet their free
time. Network marketing offers the promise of working from
home and making your own hours. Again, the opportunity to
create free time will ALWAYS draw people to network
marketing.
Conclusion:
As long as people crave time, money and freedom network
marketing will ALWAYS exist.
The next time that someone tries to tell you that network
marketing doesn’t work you know that they couldn’t be more
wrong.
All you have to is ask your accuser 1 of 3 questions:
Do you want more money?
Do you want freedom from your job?
Do you want more time?
I guarantee they will answer yes to one of these questions.
When they do they will have proved exactly why network
marketing will always work!

Keyword phrases with low competition will give you faster results in regards to getting traffic from Google, yahoo, Bing etc. When you have identified your keywords you will also need to create free one way backlinks. A backlink is a link from one website to yours using an anchor text. Here’s and example of a backlink using an anchor text.

In the example above “online internet marketing strategies ” is the keyword that I am targeting and it is linking to my website “http://mentorlee.com”. So when I submit my articles to article directories I would place my anchor text in my author resource box that will tell the search engines what keyword to rank my site for.
The more one-way links that you have coming from other relevant sites the better. So when deploying your article marketing strategy be sure to make your author resource box look natural. This will make the reader of your article want to click the link and visit your website. You also want to create and submit original content articles to the article directories. The search engines do not like duplicate content. That will hurt your search engine rankings for the keyword that you want to target. You can also use article spinners to create multiple versions of one article to minimize duplicate content while maximizing your ability to get free traffic from the search engines.
Here is one of my methods that I use to generate leads for one of my online businesses. This works very well to generate fresh leads on a daily basis.
